The founder of Amor, Dr. Love Nwigwe, was trained in Italy as a chemist with a pharmaceutical background. Her desire to see people healed and healthy led her to change her career to natural health and wellness. Love has a passion to see individuals completely restored back to their original state, mentally, physically, and spiritually.   

 

Love started her training in Wellness Management at Burma University in Lacombe, Alberta. She graduated with a B.Sc. in Wellness Management where she was trained in, anatomy and physiology, international public health, health screening / basic remedies, scientific basis of sport/fitness, nutrition, principles of health education, stress and leisure, health and fitness, psychology, sociology, ethics, medical terminology, conflict resolution and in many other areas of natural health.

 

After completing the Wellness Management degree, Love pursued a more specialized training through Trinity School of Natural Health with a designation of Master Herbalist (MH). This has given her a better understanding of Herbal Medicine and also more tools to empower people and encourage them to make better choices for better health using herbal extracts.

 

 

At Trinity School of Natural Health, Love studied dried blood cell analysis, body chemistry, kinesiology, aromatherapy, diet and nutrition, practical herbalism, nutritional healing, nutritional herbology, nutritional healing, herbs of the bible and much more. 

 

This training led her to become certified in Dried Blood Cell analysis.  She received her practical experience on live and dried blood microscopy under the supervision of Hope Jensen the owner of Live Abundantly Knowing Your Health in Sylvan Lake, AB.

 

 

Dr. Love is also a Certified Natural Health Practitioner by the Canadian Examining Board of Health Care Practitioners and a qualified Christian counsellor trained at North Carolina College of Theology USA (specialized in developmental Psychology)

 In addition to teaching adults, Love is also a licensed child care provider by the Alberta Children and Youth Services. She is able to educate young children and teenagers on making healthy lifestyle choices. She believes giving attention to a child’s health can result in improved memory, coping ability, immunity and overall emotional and spiritual well-being. Love is passionate about reaching individuals at a young age in order to create healthy habits that will carry them through into adulthood
